When I learned of the lunar eclipse, I made arrangements to go to the Big Bend area to get some pictures. While the best place to see the eclipse was the west coast, there was a fairly good view from this area.
As I watched the eclipse, I couldn't help but relate to how many of us who have been diagnosed, get pushed into the shadows. Often what we want, think or dream becomes eclipsed by family, MH professionals or even society. And as the moon came to the point where she was coming forth from the shadows, she was "blood" red. I thought, yes we can say we may a bit bloody, but maybe it is more that we are angry. And it is a anger which motivates us to ensure that others don't live in those shadows. We use that experience to help others like us to live a full and happy life. Recovery is Possible!
